July 11-13 - In Taldygorkan

After being blasted by the heat we started working on a plan to get north as fast as possible via bus to Ust Kamenogorsk. We have had some time to look around the city (which is about 100K people and not exactly a tourist destination but we are enjoying ourselves regardless) and spend some time on the internet researching the rest of our Kazakhstan stay and our route through the Russian Altay mountains.
